In August 2024, Lapid Leaders Africa joins Taproot Earth to co-host the Global Climate Reparations Governance Assembly in Nairobi, Kenya. Gathering over 250 global climate leaders, activists, and change-makers, this event focuses on climate reparations, migration rights, and future climate justice campaigns. It aims to urgently address the historical and ongoing impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities.
