DIGITAL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
The need for digital capacity in many small businesses is usually quite high, however most SMEs struggle to plug that critical hole. Either due to lack of resource, or uncertainty about what specific skills they need and how to recruit talent for them, small businesses remain unable to fully leverage technology.
The Digital Apprenticeship Program seeks to embed high capacity digital apprentices within small businesses to work with them with the goal of building a digital presence for them. Here, Lapid Leaders leverages on its alumni to develop a digital accelerator that provides digital solutions to SMEs.
The program follows four general steps.
1 RECRUIT
- We recruit from our young leaders who have already demonstrated high growth capability, as well as the right mindset, grit and growth potential.
2 TRAIN
- We provide best in-class training by collaborating with institutions both locally and globally to equip our young leaders with world-class digital skills
3 EMBED
- We embed our apprentices in businesses. Our apprentices support locally funded African SGBs to build their digital capacity through digital marketing and data analytics
4 ATTACH
We attach high quality advisors to each business. Our advisors provide the apprentices with on-going coaching and guidance.
