The Women Who Built Before Us
On Madaraka Day 2024, women from different generations gathered at Karura Forest to honour women whose courage, leadership and sacrifice contributed to Kenya’s liberation and nation-building journey.
The gathering left us with a question:
“What must our generation now build with what they made possible?”
That question became Women of Purpose.
